Made from hand-laid carbon fiber with pre-impregnated cloth and epoxy resin, and finished in a gloss clearcoat for UV-protection, the ECS Carbon Fiber Engine Cover is a study in engineering precision. 
An engraved ECS logo is pre-installed and covered in a clear anodized finish, while the exposed coilpack design shows off your stock or aftermarket ignition accessories.  Unique engine cover mounting grommets are conveniently pre-installed for you – simply remove the old plastic cover and replace with the new carbon piece.

Designed and manufactured in the USA using the most current design methods and materials, ECS Performance Drivetrain Mounts utilize a perfected polyurethane formula to deliver smooth power transfer through the driveline to the ground while minimizing chassis feedback. 


ECS MK4 Pendulum Mounts, Engine Mounts, and Transmission Mounts are machined from strong and lightweight 6061-T6 Billet Aluminum and then anodized black for corrosion resistance and a truly stunning appearance.

The custom-machined Pendulum mount is a highlight of this latest ECS release. All-weather seals capture a teflon-lined spherical bearing that replaces the poorly designed factory bushing, eliminating front bushing deflection and premature failure. The required genuine Volkswagen torque-to-yield fasteners are also included with all ECS Drivetrain Mounts for a professional installation.

ECS Baffled Oil Catch Can System Now Available to FSI and TSI Owners

The modern closed PCV/Breather system is intended to recirculate combustion blow-by gases for cleaner operation and to reduce greenhouse gases. An unfortunate consequence of this system is the unintended ingestion of oil vapor and carbon into the intake tract, lowering the octane rating and leaving harmful deposits on a vehicle’s intake valves and ports that result in an inconsistent air/fuel ratio, lost cylinder pressure, and decreased power. 

By prototyping and testing multiple design iterations, ECS engineers gained a thorough understanding of the VW FSI and TSI engine’s PCV system. The final product represents the best integrated, most advanced oil catch can system on the market.

Engineered in-house and manufactured here in the USA, the ECS Baffled Oil Catch Can utilizes a highly efficient 4-chamber oil separator that significantly improves oil/air separation – decreasing oil ingestion and maintaining engine power output. The innovative design also catches as much blow-by gas as possible, bringing carbon buildup to an absolute minimum.

The Vent Pod fits precisely in the left side dash vent and is angled toward the driver so you’ll have perfect visibility from the entire range of driver’s seating positions. The Vent Pod integrates an injection molded mounting plate to secure the Electronic Boost Gauge into position, eliminating any possibility of gauge rotation. Now let’s talk performance. The 3.0” high flow downpipe, which fits all 2.0T FSI & TSI transverse FWD engines, directs the exhaust gases to the 200 cell high flow catalytic converter, which in turn frees up horsepower by unleashing an unrestricted passageway through the downpipe. Not only does this add a sophisticated growl to the exhaust note but also substantially increases performance by expelling the exhaust gasses at maximum velocity through a larger diameter, freer flowing downpipe due to smoother bend radius, larger internal diameter, and a less-restrictive catalytic converter.

A remote key fob-controlled, vacuum operated valve diverts the exhaust flow on your command. With the valve closed, the exhaust is tuned and quieted through directionally louvered internal tubing. With the valve open, the exhaust follows an unrestricted, straight through path, and the dyno results don’t lie. But don’t worry, you won’t need a chart. You’ll feel the difference when the pedal meets the metal.

The factory 2.0T TSI plastic charge pipes and rubber couplers were never designed to handle the stress and abuse of higher boost levels seen by tuned vehicles. When combined with power-robbing abrupt and sharp bends, inferior rubber material, and small diameter tubing, it’s easy to see why your intercooler pipes and couplers should be replaced.

The ECS dipstick handle is made from 6061-T6 billet aluminum for durable and dependable operation. Each handle arrives with pre-installed Viton O-ring(s) for maximum sealing capacity and oil / fuel resistance. Joining the oil level indicator to the dipstick handle is accomplished by a precisely measured, stainless steel wire rope that is crimped on either side to solidly lock the components in to place. To take this a step further, all dipsticks are pull-tested to ensure a rigid, crimped connection. Stainless steel shank balls are pre-crimped to the wire rope and help guide the dipstick within the dipstick tube and more closely mirror the OEM design function.

A billet machined, stainless steel oil level indicator makes checking your oil level as simple as your OEM dipstick. ECS designed the oil level indicator to match the factory oil level marks for simplicity and easy recognition of high and low fill marks. By machining the indicator as a “window” ECS found they were able to check the oil level with more precision as compared to other designs, as the oil level would typically be wiped away when pulled upwards and out from the dipstick tube.

ECS Tuning Releases Manifold Port and Throttle Body Boost Tap Kits For Gen3 1.8T/2.0T Engines

Volkswagen’s newly designed EA888 Gen3 engine operates in improved efficiency and power production as compared to previous generation engine platforms. However, with advanced technology, comes great obstacles in engine tuning and modifications. With the Gen3 engine’s closed vacuum system there was no easy method to tap into engine vacuum / boost pressure. The engineers at ECS Tuning went to the drawing board to derive to a great solution and overcome this complication.
During their product testing phase, the engineers at ECS found that other methods of acquiring a manifold signal, such as spacing the MAP / IAT sensor on top of the intake manifold, lead to skewed data being transmitted to the ECU. They found that intake air temperatures were reading lower (15-20° F at WOT), ignition timing was off (as much as -5°) and air /fuel ratio was richer (+1.0 point by 5,000 RPM). This directly translated into engine power dropping by as much as 6 WHP on an untuned vehicle!
In lieu of the MAP / IAT spacer, they came up with two expertly designed and tested boost tap options. This gives you two different methods to choose from based on your particular needs!
Throttle Body Boost Tap Kit

Located between the intake manifold and throttle body, this location provides a strong pneumatic signal and allows for a completely reversible installation. If you’re looking for a clean, stealth-like install, that can easily be put back to original condition, look no further.

Manifold Port Boost Tap Kit
For an easy installation, ECS Tuning also designed their Intake Manifold Port Boost Tap Kit. This allows a clean, unobstructed installation in the unused, driver’s side manifold port. It offers up to three vacuum fittings to operate multiple pneumatic devices, such as a boost gauge, water meth switch or aftermarket blow off valve. The included puncture tool ensures clean, precise and risk-free piercing of your intake manifold. Through observations during product testing, ECS found no debris or loose material in the manifold after puncturing the intake with their kit.

These rotors optimize the dispersion of heat, and feature lateral vibration dampening and considerable weight savings, for smooth, strong stops. Weight savings are significant, reducing weight in the fronts by 22% (5.15 pounds per rotor) and the rears by 15% (2.65 pounds per rotor). The combined unsprung weight savings of 15.60 pounds allows for quicker acceleration, decreased braking distances, and more responsive handling.

To facilitate weight savings, each rotor ring is bolted to a lightweight aluminum hat made from high quality 6061-T6 aluminum, and hard anodized with an attractive matte black finish that is both durable and corrosion resistant.

Conventional straight-veined or pillar-post rotors rely on an inefficient centrifuge-like effect to evacuate hot air from within the rotor. ECS 2-piece rotors feature curved, directional veins that accelerate air away from the rotor at a higher velocity, leading to consistent, rapid cooling.

These rotors are cross-drilled to promote cross ventilation for improved cooling as well as slotted to clean brake pads, carry away water and brake dust and to reduce rotor face temperatures to minimize brake pad gassing. Cleaner and cooler brake pads result in faster, more consistent stopping. Drilled holes are chamfered while slots are machined with a ball end mill – both to prevent cracking that may be present on improperly machined rotors.

The ECS 2-piece rotors have been subjected to thousands of miles of hard street use and to the elements (including snow and salt) for years. They have also been subjected to scientific brutal stress testing at the track, performing countless high speed stops in quick succession. ECS has measured stopping distances and elevated rotor temperatures of over 1,000*F for long sustained periods (to the point of rotor bluing and catching brake pads on fire), as well as subjecting rotors to careful post-test inspection for signs of irregular wear, warping, stress cracking, or any other signs of failure.
